This special family class invites parents and children to learn and create together in a joyful holiday art experience. Families will explore a variety of art techniques and media while designing beautiful, festive pieces to bring holiday cheer into their homes. Each session encourages parent/child/sibling collaboration. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season and make lasting memories through art. All ages are welcome!
This class is taught by Kitoodle instructor, Ms. Gina. Gina has been immersed in art since childhood. In high school, she received the Outstanding Achievement in Art award before attending Bauder Fashion College, where she studied Fashion Illustration, Design, and Interior Design. She later earned a BFA from the University of Texas at Arlington. After returning to California, Gina continued her studies privately and through UCLA extension courses while exhibiting her artwork throughout Los Angeles. In 1995, she worked as a “clean-up” animator on eight national commercials at Wong Studios.
In 2001, Gina welcomed twins, Vincent and Isabella, and soon after, she led the Meet the Masters art program at their elementary school for seven years. In recognition of her contributions, she received the California State PTA’s Honorary Service Award in 2013. Today, she teaches both in-person and virtual art lessons through Home School Coaches, FUNdamentals Academy, Excel Academy, and Wyzant, while also working with private students throughout Los Angeles County.
